Uncovering Our Earliest Ancestor: The Link

There was a great documentary on BBC1 last night about the recent findings on the "Missing Link" fossil from Messel Fossil Pit.

Again this one may only be viewable to UK residents.

It was a particularly good documentary as you would expect from David Attenbourgh and his team, it gave a pretty insightful study of the Ida fossil as well as illuminating details of the Messel pit in general. Hopefully some of you from outside the UK will be able to see something of it.

It is 1 hour long and hopefully it should be on there until Tuesday 2nd June
