The Plantin Moretus Museum in Antwerp gets a starring role in tonight's episode of The Amazing Race in the United States. Teams in the competition have the option to complete a printing challenge at the museum as part of a Route Detour. Over the past 29 seasons, the US version of The Amazing Race has visited over 100 World Heritage Sites; this is their first visit to a World Heritage Site in Belgium.

Yep, watched that. We were discussing with Ivan which one we would do, whether the one with diamonds or the one at Plantin Moretus Museum. Still not sure, though I guess the printing one was actually faster if one gets hang of it soon enough. Visited it last year while Ivan was having classes there for his MBA and I had some free time to enjoy Antwerp. Loved it! (Ivan visited many years ago on a motorbike trip.)

I think I would have done printing, too. I haven't been to the Plantin Moretus Museum, but I would definitely love to visit, based on the good reviews I've read here.

Yeah it really is one of my favourite sites, that I probably wouldn't have visited if it wasn't for it being on the list.

Antwerp is a lovely city as well.
