Tomorrow evening on Dutch TV: Wrangel Island is the first destination in the new season of the travel programme Floortje Naar Het Einde Van De Wereld. I do wonder whether it is worth it to travel for 8 days to get there.

An update about this: over 2 million Dutch viewers now know about Wrangel. Lots of polar bears, tundra and Russian trash (too expensive to take away). Exploration of the island was very limited, and overall it wasn't appealing enough to me to warrant a super expensive trip.
