A 'different perspective'

As an interesting concept a photographer has pointed his camera in the opposite direction at various sites around the world.
Many (most?) are WHSs. I've considered doing this myself at times, but never put it into practice as this gentleman has!

That's an interesting perspective. I recognized a couple of them from reverse, but others I would have never guessed. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for that.

Mrs Meltwaterfalls had a nice selection of photos from the Rijksmuseum the other year of people looking at the most famous paintings (partially out of exasperation with being elbowed out of the way by people trying to get a photo of a Vermeer, before rushing off to snap a photo of some other painting by someone famous.)

This reminded me of an article I read showing travel photos advertised for tours and a completely different reality if you pick peak times or pick seasons for your visit ... http://www.repubblica.it/viaggi/2016/04/07/foto/luoghi_vacanze_brochure_realta_-13708 8501/

I really like the idea of opposite direction but still confusing with the outcome of this photographer! I understand that the opposite direction will open a new perspective but actually some of the works are not. For example the view of Chirst Redeemer, actually a lot of tourists (including me) also took photo from that view!? Btw the Tiananmen photo is quite a mistake, those people did not take photo of Mao's mausoleum but the rising flag ceremony in the morning.
