Acctually the
'In Our Time' archive is a bit of a goldmine for information on various aspects of World Heritage Sites, and also just for general information. I think it is availabe outside the UK, unlike the majority of the BBC's audio and video archive.
They can be a little academic however they are sometimes an invaluable resource, and Melvyn Bragg is a particularly astute host.
