You are invited to enter the Inspired by World Heritage Photography Competition 2009. The theme of this year's competition is 'vibrant heritage'. Your image should capture the energy and spirit of any Site inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List, whether it is a bustling historic town or the colourful displays of the natural world. Ancient, modern, natural and man-made: the World Heritage List an amazingly diverse register of our planet's most important places.

A selection of images will be displayed at this year's Saltaire Festival on the finale weekend 19th-20th September. The competition is sponsored by Jessops, the biggest high street retailer of everything photographic. There £250 of Jessops vouchers to be won including a £150 first prize!
