Like some users within our community, I use Flickr and Google Drive the most regarding photos. I upload all photos to Google Drive and only publish higher quality photos to Flickr.

When I passed 100 WHS, I created two max page shutterfly (hard copy) albums to showcase each WHS. Here is a digitized version that I added to Flickr (best view option toggle slideshow). This includes a full spread for photos, inscription year, visitation year, title / country. Anyone else making coffee table-style WHS books?

Els is about to reach 1000, Nan 650, and Frederick Dawson just passed 500 to name a few. What do you do? Is your WHS count / # of photographs too high to even bother? I still see that some WHS travelers like to get a photo recognizing their specific benchmark (example 250 WHS). Some of us like to prioritize and plan for a particularly special WHS for the aspiring benchmark, for example Els looking at 1000. Bali was my 100th.

Lastly, how does your previous 100, 250, or 500 inform your plan for your next benchmark? For all of us our last 100 WHS tell a story. My breakdown by region / country is 27% Korea and China (early travels / repeat visits), Spanish speaking countries (Mexico, Spain, Costa Rica, Peru) 24%, and then 23% United States (home country). That approaches 75% of my first 100 WHS. The last 25% are spread out over several countries.

This inevitably leads me to future travels. Where do I want to return to and what country or regions do my spouse and I wish to visit for the first time? My road to 200 WHS will not include many WHS from the US or Korea anymore, but will still likely include a sizable number (probably about 10 WHS) from Mexico. Additionally, I'm looking at a few excursions in the African region to visit 5-10 WHS. An additional trip to South America and the Arab States / Gulf Region, will add another dozen or so WHS. Then lastly, visiting family in Sweden (side stop Finland/Baltic States) and some long-delayed high WHS countries like the UK and Japan. In that sense, my goal for 200 is focused on 1) different regions 2) repeated visits to countries with more to see 3) Popular countries with high # of WHS (Japan).
