It's been a tough year for travel, so what better way to celebrate the season than with gingerbread World Heritage Sites?

So without further ado, here is one artist's version of Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater.

And here is a collection of landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, the Houses of Parliament, St. Basil's Cathedral, the Taj Mahal, the Alamo, and the Statue of Liberty.

And, much more my speed, gingerbread Stonehenge.

Don't forget - this Sunday I will be publishing the "2020 - A Year in Review(s)". Which reviews of WHS in 2020 are worth remembering? And who will be the winner of the yearly Tsunami award for WH travel misadventure?

My hopes also for a fine holiday season for everyone in our community, and a better 2021 for all of us!

In fact, I was at a WHS this morning. :-)

Even though I have been able to find ways to keep moving, that was my first Site visit in two and a half months. However, that period of time also included failed attempts to get to four other Sites, so this one was a nice holiday gift to myself.
