While viewing official UNESCO website I found this. There was a project financed by UNESCO titled: Defining the Boundary and Geo-mapping the Lower Omo Valley World Heritage property. It was approved on 12.03.2015 as technical assistance to the State Party (some 15 th USD). Does anyone knows the result of that. Do we finally have the right boundaries of the site ? I guess that currently for real visit the place we should go some 7-8 km west of Omorate village towards the border with South Sudan. Is that correct data ? |
