Just thought I'd share with everyone that I'm running a World Heritage Journey channel on YouTube. For the past 9 months my wife and I have been visiting and filming WH sites; we both started around 50 and should be over 200 within a month or so.

Since we started in Spain, we've focused on Europe so far (though we've both seen quite a few sites worldwide). Currently in Krakow, Poland, and from here we plan to finish off southern Poland and eastern Czechia before heading to Italy and hiding from the worst of winter!

I know 200 is only small potatoes compared to many of you, but we're quite hopeful of getting to all of them, or at least very close!

And if anyone has any feedback or suggestions, I'm all ears :)

We were amazed to see you so enthusiastic about Beemster Polder! Well done.

Thanks Els, I really appreciate that! We quite enjoyed Beemster, since it's just so different from the farmland we're used to back in Australia. It was definitely a challenge to film though, since long panning shots of wide farmland doesn't come across very well on camera - thankfully we managed to find a couple of elevated positions for a better view!

If I enjoy the site it's easy to be enthusiastic, though even if I'm not a big fan I do my best to still come across that way! I'd say only a handful of the 200 sites we've visited so far have been a disappointment.
