Travelling around Egypt you become aware though that still every day new things are discovered, tombs are opened to the public et cetera.

I see they unveiled another statue at Luxor this Tuesday - since you were there or did they just cover it up for the "unveiling"??

I'm afraid I may have missed it (so many large statues), but I heard from other people on the dahabiya that I am at right now that they saw it before they temporarily put a veil over it. I was in Luxor Temple on Saturday.
