Yikes, I wonder why UNESCO acquiesced to the request to remove any mention of them? I would guess it is to do with funding but still remarkable and more than a little concerning.

UNESCO really seems to have made an ass of itself on this
a. Acquiescing in government initiated censorship - where will that end?
b. Going OTT on some of the items - whose threat levels are in fact way below those facing the unmentioned Gt Barrier Reef (presuming that Global warming is a fact, whether anthropogenic or not)
i. Stonehenge - where warmer winters "are likely to bring higher populations of burrowing mammals including badgers, moles and rabbits, which may destabilize stonework and disturb buried archaeological deposits."
ii. envisaging a Hollywood disaster movie scenario on the Statue of Liberty!

We, in the UK, are already facing a threat of the 4 horsemen of the Apocolypse (including WWIII) if we dare to vote to leave the EU - such exaggeration seems to be a normal approach to making partisan arguments nowadays!
