I thought it a good idea to make a list of sites we know are after inscription in the foreseen future, but for which we have no definite information regarding their plans.

Penjari (Benin) - press releases
Metallurgical sites (Burkina Faso) - Unesco financial assistance in preparation
Historic sultanates (Comoros) - Unesco financial assistance in preparation
Zaruma (Ecuador) - incomplete in 2015
Hyderabad (India) - postponed in 2014
Delhi (India) - withdrawn/postponed in 2015
Tana Toraja (Indonesia) - incomplete in 2014
Ivrea (Italy) - press releases
Umm el Jimal (Jordan) - press releases
Plains of Jars (Laos) - receiving Australian assistance
Silk Road (Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan) - referred in 2014, a major international project
Termiz (Uzbekistan) - incomplete in 2014
Sarmisshay (Uzbekistan) - incomplete in 2013

Laos is out of money for the Plain of Jars nomination, which explains the delay.

Best case scenario 2018, but likely 2019 or 2020. Ohio has been preparing a nomination for 3 years already.

Historic Center of the Port City of Odessa (Ukraine) perhaps as early as 2018, updated nomination plan is based on 3 criteria.
