Yeongcheon Imjin River Biosphere Preservation Area is being planned for final decision in July 2019. This region sits on the border between North and South Korea. Note that this nomination is for a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Baekdudaegan: Mt. Geumgangsan and Mt. Seorak is a proposal to link two tentative nominations into one mixed site that would connect both national parks through the DMZ.

DMZ Cultural Heritage Joint Symposium (November 6th, 2018) this symposium was just held at the National Palace Museum in Seoul.

This might be a bit optimistic. However, I wonder if we'll see an official tentative nominations in the next year or two?

There has never been a mixed WHS on the Korean peninsula.
