[b]Short description of site (also include multiple locations if applicable): The world's highest navigable lake, and largest lake in South America, The hydrology and flora/fauna of Lake Titicaca is unique. Evaporation counts for 90% of the lakes out put of water, creating a very unique environment. Titicaca contains many cultural features, such as Inca ruins on its islands and shores, but the most remarkable is the Uros. a collection of artificial islands made of reeds, which indigenous inhabitants traditionally live on, and are without equal in the world.

Outstanding universal value / comparative analysis: Lake Titicaca has no parallel on the WHS. There are other similar lakes in hydrology and geology, but none as big.
