(1442) Lighthouses
Paphos (name significance)

(1374) The Crusades
Baalbek – raided (city wasn't raided, only surrounding land?)

Paphos has several Roman villas as well as a Roman Forum. Several internet websites refer to it as a Roman colony ("The UNESCO listed cultural heritage sites of Paphos offer the visitor a wonderful opportunity to see first hand the 1st Century Roman colony" - http://www.st-paultravel.com/visit.htm)

Baalbek - Excavations near the Jupiter temple have revealed the existence of ancient human habitation dating to the Early Bronze Age (2900-2300 BC) Wiki

Rideau - RMC is located on Point Frederick (Kingston), a small peninsula at the point where the St. Lawrence River leaves Lake Ontario and where the Rideau Canal system starts.[62]Point Frederick includes three National Historic Site Designations: the 1920s Royal Navy Dockyard, the Point Frederick Buildings[63] and Kingston Fortifications.[64] Wiki
Anyway - it isn't Fort Henry which houses the RMC.

Valle de Vinales - it's true this mural is a modern one but it is inspired by prehistoric pictographs in both technique and character.

Laferriere - Other facilities included dungeons, bathing quarters, and bakery ovens. Wiki

Skellig Michael - the cells are atop a cliff.

St Louis - Berger Uni is out of St Louis.

Have added Baalbek, Rideau, Laferriere and Skellig Michael. Am still looking into Roman Colonies, to get the description of the connection more precise.

Some more:

(1478) Locations for playing sport
Cuzco - Sacsayhuamán - Some Cusqueños also use the large field between the walls of the fortress early in the morning for jogging, tai chi, and other athletic activities.
>> (Not part of WHS)

Reservoirs:
Nubian monuments - Aswan Dam and Lake Nasser, Mexico City - was built over Tenochitlan reservoir, Jerusalem - Hizkiya Reservoir
>> (Aswan Dam isn't part of the WHS, added the others to already existing connection Irrigation and drainage)

(1278) Locations for playing sport
Litomysl - amphitheatre in the castle's garden
>> (as this is not a Roman amphitheatre, I guess it wasn't used for sports but for music/theatre)

(1397) Places of Execution
Mexico City
>> (who, when, where?)

Statues
Tsodilo - archaeologists found the stone snake that was carved long ago. It is as tall as a man and 20 feet (6 meters) long.
>> (I think it's a carving, not a statue; added it to Cut into living rock)

I am currently in Cuzco, and have just visited Sacsayhuamán. It is a pity if it is not included in the Cuzco WHS. However, I cannot find any evidence at the Unesco website that the nomination extends beyond the city center.

Anyone that knows more about this?

The unesco documentation tab for the site has a decision entry for the 2005 WhC which refers to the management plan for sacsahuayman. But page 121 of 05/29.COM.22 (the original paper) refers to the fact that Peru wants to include Sacsahuayman in the inscribed area. The doc states that this would require a proper nomination. So it looks as if Peru was trying to slip in an extension by providing a Management Plan for an uninscribed area!!!
