Some connections I'm not planning to add at this moment, unless you can convince me otherwise:

(1177) Neolithic age
Korean dolmens (they are Bronze Age)

(1174) Mosque
Pamarimbo - Suriname Mosque, one of the oldest ones in South America (not in inscribed area)

(1168) Built or owned by Germans
Nancy - belonged to the Holy Roman Empire until the 18th Century and became German in 1871-1918. (the squares that are at the heart of this nomination weren't built by Germans)

(1166) Celtic history
Banska Stiavnica - Cotini tribe (see no link to inscription)

(1136) Slave trade
Marrakesh, Cairo, (please name specific locations)

(1133) Mausolea
Hue's dynastic mausoleams (already under Dynastic Burial Places)

(1132) Named after individual people
ULURU/AYERS ROCK NAMED AFTER SIR HENRY AYERS BY JUBAIR (official name of WHS isn't Ayers rock)

(1129) Pyramids
Basra - the Mosque has a Ziggurat shape as well. (Basra is no WHS)

The mosuqe and synagogue in Pamarimbo are standing near each other, so if the mosque is out I guess so should the synagogue too.

Another out is the Schindler scene in Jerusalem which takes place at Mount Zion outside the borders of the designated area.

They are indeed, but rather strangely the synagogue is included and the mosque isn't!
The synagogue also is outside the core area of the WHS, but an exception was made so it features on the list of inscribed monuments. See the Nomination file on the Unesco website for reference.

Els,
You still mention a "former name" in the connection for the Mumbai Victoria Station - is this a precedent!!

"Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park" WAS named "Uluru (Ayers Rock – Mount Olga)" when it was first inscribed in 1987. So the original name related to Sir Henry Ayers Chief secretary of S Australia and to Queen Olga of Wurttemburg.

As I understand it the name of the entire park is now totally "aboriginal". The 2 individual sites ("Uluru/Ayers Rock" and "Kata Tjuta/Mt Olga") have gone through the sequence of dual naming with the European first then in 2002 this was reversed to have the aboriginal name first - and there it still remains???

The former name there is still part of the official name of the WHS. This isn't the case for Uluru.

Some more in doubt:

- Island Gigantism
Willandra Lakes Region - Fossils of giant marsupials (decided to limit the connection to still living species; also not an island though isolated)

- Cannibalism: Mexico City (Aztek Culture), St Petersburg (during the Nazi siege), Jerusalem (during the Roman siege) (too farfetched from reason why these sites are WHS; and we already have Human Sacrifice)

- Former Borders: Berlin sites (East-West Germanies), Jerusalem (Israel-Jordan) (also too farfetched)
