Another update of connections I plan to reject, unless somebody comes to their rescue with extra info:
Heinrich Schliemann: Acropolis, Paris, Naples >> As he lived in Athens, Paris and Naples he probably visited these 3 WH designated areas, but I cannot find anything specific to relate to him
Blown up: Pompeii >> A lot of disturbing things happened at Pompeii, but I haven't heard that it was blown up by an explosion (if the volcanic explosion was meant, this is another Connection (covered by volcanic ash), where Pompeii already is included)
Music Academies: Liszt Academy of Weimar >> The Classical Weimar site consists only of 11 buildings in the city, none of those I have been able to connect to the Liszt Academy
Sound and Light Show: Prague - Kafka Museum, Museum Island - DDR Museum, Budapest - House of Terror >> I'm unsure about these, as they're inside museums I believe that they are not traditional sound and light shows (special light effects on a building or facade, with accompanying music or narration) >> also: Dresden: I've found a reference to a sound and light show during the festivities of the 800th anniversary of Dresden, but don't know if this is a regular attraction |
