Connection: Only WHS in their country

Island of Mozambique is no longer the only WHS of Mozambique. The Maputo NP was included in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park – Maputo NP WHS this year.

Blue and John Crow Mountains is no longer the only WHS of Jamaica. 17th Century Port Royal was inscribed this year.

Al Ain is no longer the only WHS of the UAE. Faya Palaeolandscape was inscribed this year.

I think this one still needs to be removed from the connection.

FRIM Selangor features twice in the Vernacular architecture connection. The two need to be combined.

Connection: Free entrance

It states that "General city centres and cultural landscapes are excluded".

Then I think these WHS, currently included, should be out:

Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz (cultural landscape)

Muskauer Park (cultural landscape)

Singapore Botanic Gardens (cultural landscape)

Thingvellir (cultural landscape)

Singapore Botanic Gardens (cultural landscape)

Thingvellir (cultural landscape)

These two at least do have a formal "entrance"

The Amsterdam Canal Ring is cited in the Connection Designed by Gustave Eiffel, because of the "Roof construction of the Royal Theatre Carré".

However, the Dutch Wikipedia states the following:

"De stalen bogen van de dakconstructie - die sedert de verbouwing van 2004 goed zichtbaar zijn voor het publiek - zijn niet ontworpen en vervaardigd door Gustave Eiffel, zoals veelal wordt geschreven, maar door de Amsterdamse bruggenbouwer Koninklijke Fabriek voor Stoom- en andere Werktuigen."

"The steel arches of the roof structure - which have been clearly visible to the public since the 2004 renovation - were not designed and manufactured by Gustave Eiffel, as is often written, but by the Amsterdam bridge builder Royal Factory for Steam and other Machines."

I think therefore the Amsterdam Canal Ring should be eliminated from the connection.

The connection Greek Orthodox churches outside Greece states in its definition: "Greek Orthodox churches outside Greece (and Cyprus)", yet it includes two Cypriotic WHS:

- Painted Churches in the Troödos Region
- Paphos

Shouldn't they be out then? Or do we modify the definition?

According to the core zone provided for Beth Guvrin at our website, the northern part of the national park across the road is not included. This means the Roman amphitheater and bath house are out for their respective connections. I believe the same is also true of the Palestinian cemetery.

Weimar for Luther is a bit tricky. Albeit technically correct (the church is in the core zone), it should be noted that "Classical" Weimar is an 18th century created, long after Luther had passed away.
