Even 2 people recently suggested some connections about Gardens. I am not 100% sure about adding these, as some are either too obvious (italian style gardens in italy, japanese style in japan) and/or a subdivision of the already existing parks/garden category.
Anyone with a good idea for a creative point of view on gardens?

The suggestions are:

ITALIAN STYLE PARKS AND GARDENS
- Florence: Boboli Garden
- Vatican: Vatican Gardens
- Villa d'Este
- Verona: Giusti Garden
- ...
FRENCH STYLE PARKS AND GARDENS
- Versailles
- Fontainebleau
- Loire Valley: gardens of many castles
- Kromeriz: Pleasure Garden
- Schonbrunn
- Salzburg: Mirabell Garden
- Caserta
- Wurzburg
- Bruhl
- ...
ENGLISH STYLE PARKS AND GARDENS
- Kew gardens
- Studley Royal
- Blenheim
- Lednice-Valtice
- Dessau-Worlitz
- Muskauer Park
- Potsdam
- Classical Weimar: Park on the Ilm, Ettersburg Park, Belvedere Park, Tiefurt Park
- Kromeriz: Castle Garden
- Telc: Castle garden

JAPANESE GARDENS
- Kyoto
- ..

We have already had eg "Russian Orthodox churches outside Russia " (and the equivalent for Greece) - you could do the same with Gardens. As you say, it is close to self-evident that Italian gardens will be found in Italy etc - the more interesting aspect perhaps is where a different style has been adopted outside the country of origin!! We have partly done this already with "Chinoiserie" and "Modelled after" (and there would/could be quite an overlap with this Connection which would need addressing).

You could either have a separate Connection for each relevant National Style with foreign representation or have a generic Connection like
"National Garden Styles transferred to other countries". And then state the style (and name of the garden where relevant) after the site
There will also be a problem over how much of such a style needs to be present to be relevant - many palaces etc have many different styles of garden but i suppose we faced that with "Chinoiserie" also.
