While the World Heritage Committee keeps track of World Heritage Sites in Danger, elements of OUV in certain WHS are currently threatened or disappearing. For example, the glaciers of Waterton-Glacier NP are predicted to disappear with the next decade. Should we keep a running list of threats to OUV, or does the current WHS in Danger list justify the cause? |
