I note that Rapa Nui has been "connected" to "Cultural Sites taking up an entire island".

The implication is that the entire island of Rapa Nui is inscribed. This is not the case. Only that area within Rapa Nui National Park is part of the WHS. This excludes significantly large areas - including the town of Hanga Roa, the Airport and much of the interior - as well, rather surprisingly, as the Poike Peninsula to the East.

The official name of the inscribed site is "Rapa Nui National Park". The map on the UNESCO Web site has a rather unclear map of the island with the NP boundaries shown in faint green dotted lines!

The Connection could be maintained if it were made clear that it doesn't apply to Rapa Nui itself but to 3 small offshore islands associated with the Birdman cult - Mota Nui, Motu Iti and Moto Kau Kau.
