Some more I could not place:

(4179) Critically endangered fauna species
Greater Blue Mountains : Wollemi National Park : Wollemia nobilis
>> it's a plant, so no fauna (we could open a connection for flora, but I have no idea how many there are)

(4172) Reintroduced Species
Lord Howe - Giant Stick Insect
>> have they been reintroduced yet? See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dryococelus_australis

Parthians - Takht-e Soleyman
>> Parthians were much earlier (2nd BCE to 3rd CE), any significant remains still in situ?

Re: Takht-e Soleyman

Archaeological excavations have revealed traces of a 5th century BC occupation during the Achaemenid period, as well as later Parthian settlements in the citadel. (Wiki)

(3715) Cultural sites taking up an entire island

>> Meroe is not a real island, just perceived that way by Ancient Greeks

And more:

(4190) Dependent territories
Gulf of Porto
Ogasawara Islands
>> have been rejected before, don't have the status of dependent territories

(4201) Buddhist sites in non-Buddhist countries
Amsterdam - sacred-destinations.com/netherlands/amsterdam-chinese-buddhist-temple.htm
>> Zeedijk is not part of inscribed area

(4228) Ossuary
Rhine Valley - Koblenz, Liebfrauenkirche
>> probably was meant: Michaelskapelle neben der Liebfrauenkirche in Koblenz (umgebaut), >> no bones left??

4212) Monumental Monoliths
Saint-Emilion : Église monolithe de Saint-Émilion
>> I don't think it is "detached" (as per explanation of this connection)

(4196) Cemeteries
Vienna - There used to be a cemetery right near the Stefansdom. Some of the grave markers now adorn its outer walls.
>> former cemeteries is a stretch too far

(4186) Uninhabited islands
Lake Turkana : Central Island
>> has been rejected before, I believe; WHS itself must be an island (not only part of it)

(4183) Notable lakes
-Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks : Moraine Lake -East Rennell : Lake Tegano -Kenya Lake System -Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch : Oeschinen Lake
>> why are these notable lakes? Only the biggest/deepest/oldest whatever counts

>> I see brasseries, not breweries

Keoladeo National Park : "former duck-hunting reserve of the Maharajas" (UNESCO Brief description)

(4234) Minority communities / Natural sites with indigenous population

And more up for scrutiny:

Dry stone construction - Polonnaruwa
>> source?

Famous architects - Weimar (Goethe)
>>?? Goethe was not an architect (this was meant for the Roman House, but I don't think we could see him as a famous architect)

Famous frescoes - Bauhaus (Schlemmer at the Bauhaus University)
>> this was not a fresco, but a "regular" wall painting I believe

Extensions T list - Jelling
Extensions T list - Dingvellir
Extensions T list – Birka
>> these are not extensions, but re-nomination of these sites under 1 serial nomination

Coral reef - Monte San Giorgio (in fossil)
>> I don't think it's a whole reef, and it is stretching the connection too far

And more:

Shintu: Kii
>> Shinto is no Connection (yet), and will not become one as long as it only includes sites from one country (e.g.: Japan)

Rheinland Platinate Hotspot: Voelkingen, Luxemburg, Strasbourg, Nancy, Cologne, Maulbronn
>> these are already clustered as the Nancy Hotspot; it is true of course that a wide range could be visited from Germany too, but that's the case with most of northwestern Europe (from Brussels you could almost visit any site in this part of the world)

Achaemenid Empire: Bam, Pasagardae
>> no connection yet (needs a third), and needs links outside of Iran

Built or owned by Brits - Lake Malawi (Livingstone Mission)
>> although it is mentioned in the AB evaluation, I don't think it is in the core zone

elsslots:
Fatal accidents

I didn't realise we had this one. I'm not sure what numbers we would count as significant, but there have been 3 deaths at Skellig Michael that resulted from tourists falling (1 in 1995 2 in 2009).
