I'm not sure if this has come up before but I have never investigated this bit of the official website before, it focuses on the state of conservation reports and it looks like there is a fair bit to look into.

It is a more interesting way of presenting the information, I guess it is the maps and data that draw me in, so apologies if I'm just presenting stuff that people already know, just thought I would flag it up.

Has anyone viewed any of the recent State of Conservation Reports? I find
Erbil Citadel (Iraq)
to be quite interesting since it names the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) as the acting state party.

Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) as the acting state party.
Though it may feel odd to outsiders (as is the accompanying nationalist Kurdish retoric), this was also already in the nomination file. They do thank the Iraqi UNESCO ambassador, but the file was brought forward by the Kurdistan region.
I'm still baffled about my visit there in 2014. I have no ambition to become a political commentator and will refrain from interpretation based on my observations, but never before I have visited a country in the making such as this.

I wasn't aware of this page, so here are some more relevant recommendations:
Assif:
Vienna (Austria) and Cerrado (Brazil) are both recommended an in-danger inscription.
Assif:
Comoe (Ivory Coast) to be removed from the in-danger list.
