Added:
- Glacier Parks (c) Protected Planet resized
- Rainforests of the Atsinanana (c) Protected Planet resized and adjusted (PP map showed a few small spots near Masoala NP, which I could not link to the official map (of which there is a slightly better version in the nom file) - I have removed those).

Did Port Royal yesterday, it has a very neat core zone including all the relevant sights but not much more. Added some POI's too.

Today I added two more cultural landscapes:
- Gedeo
- Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley
For both, I also added a couple of POIs, taken from the reviews. With the combination of a core zone map and some POIs, the cultural landscapes make so much more sense travel-wise.

(Virtually) went to Greenland today:
- Aasivissuit - Nipisat: clear core zone, also added a large number of POIs from the reviews and the nom file. We need a new review here, as a new (gravel) road opened last year, which opened up the area. Note that all the main POIs lie in the west, nearer to Sisimiut than Kangerlussuaq.
- Kujataa: a bit tougher to do, I had to make some manual adjustments but it is clear enough I think

Added:
- Thingvellir: surprisingly difficult, the shape looks easy, but I suspect the official map is not to scale (and OSM is poor in details in Iceland). Eventually I drew it manually.
- Kuldiga.

We now have 800 core zones. This includes "doubles" for transnational sites and above/underground, but in total they will cover about 780 WHS.

Did Safi al-Din Ensemble in Ardabil and Tabriz Bazaar today. Both turned out to be quite doable.

I wanted to dip my toes into the Rock Art of the Mediterranean Basin core zones.

I think we may have a bit of a bonus:
According to the 2015 updated map, there don't seem to be any corezones, they are just pinpointed "sites" inside a buffer zone.

So we have just dropped 758 core zones from the to-do list

Indeed! Quite a funny way of doing it, I have not seen it with other WHS.

Did a couple more from Iran:
Masjed-e Jâme' of Isfahan
Gonbad-e Qâbus
Pasargadae
Golestan Palace
Takht-e Soleyman

All easy, especially when you use the satellite view the boundaries make sense

And more:

Ian did Bagerhat

I did:
Susa
Meidan Emam
Yazd
Shahr i Sokhta (tough, partly due to confusing coordinates shown in the legend of the map (ChatGPT says that the mistakes are "very common in Iranian AutoCAD / cartographic outputs", mixing north and east, omitting a leading 3...)

Continuing:
Mount Emei and Leshan (c) Protected Planet (the shape of Emei is more detailed in the PP file than in the original map, but they're close enough)

Trans-Iranian Railway (best effort; I cannot draw it as narrow as a railway line, but I think you get the point; furthermore, a few small stretches are not red on the official map, which might suggest that the core zone is not continuous; I will look into that). Added 2 POIs as well

Hawraman/Uramanat
Bisotun
Shushtar
Bam Cultural Landscape

Ian did:
St Mary's Cathedral and St Michael's Church at Hildesheim (the open part of the courtyard of the cathedral for some reason is excluded on the official map)
Trinidad and the Valley de los Ingenios (the Valley has no map, only the town has - I have added it to the No Map connection since it is such a large omission)
Cologne Cathedral
Stari Grad Plain
Cidade Velha
Sambor Prei Kuk
Neolithic Flint Mines at Spiennes

And I did Khorramabad Valley
