Aggtelek and Slovak Karst

The best map I think for this property, instead of Protected Planet.
The page can be enlarged while maintaining good quality if you first save it to your computer.

Rock Islands Southern Lagoon (c) Protected Planet
Chiribiquete (c) Protected Planet resized
Hyrcanian Forests Iran (c) Protected Planet split and resized
Hyrcanian Forests Azerbaijan (c) Protected Planet split and resized
Dinosaur Provincial Park (has a funny, square enclave, I guess it is the oil exploration area that was allowed in 1992?)

Rapa Nui National Park

I discarded it earlier because of its poor official map, but Solivagant did some additional research and we are quite sure now what the boundaries are.
I have marked it as "Community Identified" to clarify that human interpretation was involved:
- The WHS corresponds to the National Park, as can be seen in the name "Rapa Nui National Park" and is presented as such in the AB ev.
- The size of the WHS and National Park at inscription was 6,666 ha, while the total size of the island is 16,360 ha. So less than half of the island was inscribed.
- The National Park has grown since its inscription to over 7,100 ha. The Periodic Reporting of 2023 states: "Currently, a proposal for a minor boundary modification is being prepared for submission to the World Heritage Committee in accordance with Supreme Decree No. 16 of June 24, 2020, of the Ministry of National Assets, which modifies, expands, and adjusts the boundaries of Rapa Nui National Park, establishing an area of 7,150.30 hectares."

For drawing the boundaries, I have used this map as a reference. It shows the current boundaries of Rapa Nui National Park.
I have also added some POIs taken from the reviews, which clearly show that the main cultural attractions are in the core zone.

Lower German Limes NL (c) RCE resized
Socotra Archipelago (c) Protected Planet
Papahanaumokuakea (c) Protected Planet
Skocjan Caves (c) Protected Planet*

* = Community Zone (inofficial): Poor original map, but Periodic Reporting indicates following Regional Park borders (401ha), PP does so and official website as well https://www.park-skocjanske-jame.si/en/news/camping-within-the-skocjan-caves-regional-park-is-strictly-p

I am taking a break now as I will be travelling for the next 6 weeks. You can keep sending the geojsons in, I will still upload those.

For the mappers: there is now a progress spreadsheet where you can see which ones still have to be done, who has "claimed" what and further notes. Get it here - I will grant access only to active community members.

And some more:

Catoplayer did El Escorial and the Vizcaya Bridge.

And a new member, Ryan Gentry, supplied some tricky ones with the help of georeferencing:
- Sukur
- Ancient Ferrous Metallurgy Sites of Burkina Faso
- Diy-Gid-Biy Cultural Landscape (including 16 POIs, which are the archeological sites highlighted in the nomination file and supplementary information)
- Xochicalco: I logged it as a community-based map, as Ryan mainly used data from a secondary source, a Mexican legal document. The outcome in ha. is slightly smaller than indicated on the UNESCO website, but it matches the shape. The site has no buffer zone so this must be it.
