> You can log more than one visit of a site. 9.10.2025 Bauhaus. 12.02.2026 Bauhaus. You can see this in my profile.

I unfortunately can only see your forum posts easily and don't even see your name in the list of people who visited the Bauhaus sites.

> Location ticking (that's what you seem to be asking for) is on the pipeline. But I have a large backlog and this feature did not exist before and is tricky UX given the amount of locations. I hope AI will facilitate, but right now, I need to update the basics first.

Yes, I guess so. Wasn't there an easy list originally, or am I remembering this incorrectly? I can't remember whether there was one single Bauhaus thing or three, or one Primeval Beech Forest or many though. Yes, I know you guys want reviews, but I prefer to put as little stuff on the net as possible, and hence this is my only way of ' collecting'. And clicking ' visited' on the Collect app. Slowly it's getting a bit difficult to remember when I visited what though.

> That will come soonish and will be similar to rating. There is now a rating modal next to the top for logged in users. There will also be a visited button and then you either create a new visit or add it to a previous one.

Thanks a lot.

Bringing this over from another topic:
Solivagant:
(The above post included Web site addresses in Cyrillic.... this forum software doesn't accept diacritics or Cyrillic....I got it changed by AI first using "Punycode" ...which still didn't work!......and then TinyURL......that doesn't work either. I give up but the post still generally makes sense even if some of the links are dead! @Els.....is there any plan to remove this restriction ...I had major problems with all those Forests in Poland and the Balkans etc in a recent post!)

I will do a test later this week with a newer version of the Forum software to see whether a partial change or a full upgrade eases this. It is probably caused by the use of the older latin1_swedish_ci character set (possibly in combination with some of our WAF rules).

In the long run, we aim to integrate the Forum with the main website (so you have one login etc). For the moment, it still resides on the old server.

redesign is ongoing. you may notice a few tweaks on reviews and on the homepage. i will go through the whole page and that will take some time.

to carry you over. we added a nicer bulk rating feature. it should no longer be an issue for anyone to rate.

as usual: i will monitor and fix asap.

we're still tweaking this release a bit today and over the coming days
the 'read full reviews' has accidentally gone from the site page, we will bring that back, as well as the default header images when no specific one is allocated

added functionality:
- features to upload larger geojsons to show more complicated core zones
- fully revamped ratings page - go to My ratings in the WHS Traveller menu after logging in
- already there last week, but still worth mentioning: you can now rate a site again as well directly from the site page
- blog index fully redone including filtering

Suddenly I see all the review photos, not just the new ones on the main page, quite distorted, stretched upwards. It looks rather blurry and ugly.

Have you refreshed the page? (F5)

Provide a link when you have a finding. And possibly your client (phone, desktop, screensize, os, browser).

We have optimized the images with <picture> elements and your browser may be confused.

And it is the index page https://www.worldheritagesite.org/ ? Or another page?
I cannot reproduce it, all looks good to me.

Anyone else here experiencing the same issue, possibly via the mobile version?

The last two days (since wednesday evening) I had no access at all to www.worldheitagsite.org - I had just a blank screen with en error message (desktop, windows, chrome & edge). The same on my iPhone.
5 minutes ago it was the first time I could go on the main page, but then a click on a review and en error message again. But I could go back and come here to the forum.

The message is like that:
Die Website ist nicht erreichbar.
Die Antwort von www.worldheritagesite.org hat zu lange gedauert.

Mal vorab: Der Ton macht die Musik. Wenn ich das unbezahlt nach Feierabend lösen soll, dann sollte eine Bug Meldung neutral formuliert werden und schlüssig.

Your finding is actually about the retina display you are using which requires extra high resolution pictures. I can and will fix this. I dont really see a hotfix issue though and I am working on something else, so this will take a few days to deploy.
