Would like to add Fort Pannerden and Fort Everdingen too, but could you split them into separate horizontal images?

Done!

I have just added a semi-static page: https://www.worldheritagesite.org/plaques

This is to remind us of the "rules" of what we consider a WHS Plaque.
And to showcase the most recent additions. Very nice ones have come in lately, including some from Roman's recent China trip.

Also a reminder: sometimes people upload images of plaques that we already have. I won't add these to the pages, as (with other images) it is "first come first served".

A while back, I added a photo of the plaque on the belfry of Lucheux, but I don't know if it counts as it is a really simple one. It hasn't been added to the gallery either.

It's very minimalistic indeed but it just matches 2 criteria (emblem, "World Heritage Site") so it should be in. I have added it.

A friend of mine was visiting India about a month ago. Knowing about my "special hobby" of collecting WHS, she sent me a picture of a plaque from Goa. But it's not a plaque of Goa's Churches and Convents (inscribed 1986), but it's a plaque from the Fontainhas-quarter in Goa, stating that this is a "World heritage zone", declared by UNESCO in 1984.
For sure it's no WHS, TWHS or FTWHS. But as far as I googled around it's also no other UNESCO-thing like city of music or biosphere reserve or whatever. So I think the plaque is just fake!
@Els I've uploaded the plaque-picture to My Images, if you want you can share it somewhere, where anybody can see it.

Gemini says: "It's a classic case of "heritage branding" getting ahead of the actual official registry. Thanks for catching that—accuracy matters, especially when navigating the nuances of international designations versus local conservation."

There are more of those (in Turkey I believe), will have a look where I can store them.

Silly Question for the day. In visiting UNESCO sites, I have been keen to also find and photograph the UNESCO Plaques. I have noticed though under 2 of the standard "plaques" there has been a separate plaque with signatures? I have tried to research what this was about in the operational guidlines but found nothing. Can anybody help.

You mean like this one? https://fsn1.your-objectstorage.com/worldheritagesite/media/images/20260515_120124.original.jpg

That's not an official thing, just a local variation.

On the map for La Chaux de Fonds/Le Locle is the plaque location plotted somewhere in France. If the location is near Le Locle townhall, as mentioned in the description, the location should be somewhere 47.055599 / 6.745463. (Have not been there, so can't personally confirm .)

I added a picture of the plaque on the Église Notre-Dame-du-Bourg, Rabastens (43.82114487183863, 1.7256513384164802), part of the Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France
