The same issue seems to apply to the plaques at Epidaurus and the Temple of Apollo at Bassae

For the Temple of Apollo at Bassae the location of the plaque is correct, but the location od the site is wrong.
Should be more or less the same coordinates. The plaque is at the Info-Point on our map.

Hi all, here's Jan-Willem from the NL with a first, minor, contribution to the forum.

When in Vilnius, its hard to miss the plaque on the Town Hall. However, on the map the plaque indicator is positioned on the wrong site of the building. It should be on the northern wall instead of the western, somewhat 54°40'42.1"N 25°17'12.7"E. When facing the entrance with the column facade from the square, it's on the right.

I don't know if you need it, but I uploaded a picture of it to my collection, as well as a picture of the pyramid plaque on the Curonian Spit (without me in it :) ). Just see if you want to use it.

Cheers to all the good work that everybody is doing on this great website!

Update on the plaque photo migration
With the migration, we left the plaque photos for a later moment.
I have now started adding them again, some 200 are done and 750 to do.
A complicating factor is that about 30% of the old plaque descriptions did not give a specific location - I am now adding those as well, with a best guess (usually the site entrance) and a remark that the location is not precise.
I plan to finish this all when I am back from my upcoming longer trip, in December.

Adding new plaques
The preferred way to suggest a new plaque is to add its picture via Images, give it the title Plaque of xxx (replace xxx with site name) and put further details such as coordinates or hints to its location in the field Description. Several people have done so already and the collection is steadily growing. The plaque locations show on the site maps, the plaque photos show in the site galleries and in the pop-ups on the maps.

I don't remember, do we also collect the certificate locations?

The plaque at Urnes Stave Church is mapped on the wrong side of the building. It should be on the left side of the main gate in the surrounding wall when you approach from the harbour and parking lots, about lat 61.29811152142655, long 7.322257253409461.

Also, the plaque has been renewed a couple of years ago and the description 'metal plaque near church, missing year of inscription and OUV elements' is no longer valid. I have the former plaque in my photo collection (visited in 2010), but the new version can be seen here.

In Rock Art of Alta, the plaque flag is positioned inside the Alta Museum, but it mentions a brown road sign 500m outside the museum. However, the good news is that there is actually a metal plaque inside the museum, close to the main entrance. I have a (not very sharp) photo in my collection.
