I have added a new page called "Recently Updated".

It is similar to the list which was in the bottom right corner of the Community page, but a bit longer and now you can see at a glance who visited what recently. This is without needing to click further to their profile pages. Also, I think it nicely shows the clusters that people visit, which may inspire others.

Will be tweaking the page a bit in the coming days, maybe see whether I can add TWHS updates as well.

Oh that's nice indeed!

It's funny to see the patterns - I think Flexiear, CyBeRr and Nasebaer went together to iSimangaliso Wetland Park & Maloti-Drakensberg Park. Maybe they are a family?

Jay T. and Tony H. may have seen each other at the Woudagemaal, Schokland or the Colonies of Benevolence? And Wojciech, Georg and Hubert may have bumped into each other at the Lonja de la Seda.

And it seems that Xiquinho Silva is doing some repair work. If you read this, Xiquinho, and want to have your old data restored please send an e-mail to me at els@worldheritagesite.org

I've made it a bit longer but the query isn't based on calendar dates so I can't be precise.

The patterns are interesting to follow. I visited the three sites in the east of the Netherlands on a Saturday, but if Tony H. was there at the same time, there is no way I would have known, since I don't know what he looks like. I have enjoyed exploring smaller towns in the Netherlands as a result of visiting World Heritage Sites. Franeker, Lemmer, and Utrecht have all been delightful surprises.

The overlap in visited WHS tells (in my opinion) that if you see another traveller at a WHS, there's a serious chance he/she is on this website too. This obviously doesn't work for the very popular sites, but "foreigners" showing up at sites like the Woudagemaal and the Eisinga Planetarium might be. And even more so at obscure sights across the world. I always browse through visitor books at sites to see whether I recognize a name!

I have added the recent TWHS visits to this overview page. People seem to update the TWHS checklist more randomly and less frequently than their WHS checklist, but still, it's interesting to see that people are already ticking off the new German T List for example.

Honestly, I prefer older format - with TWHS visits, especially on mobile, the page is less clear. Would it be possible to separate WHS and TWHS visits?

I see what you mean, wojtek. Will keep tweaking.

I've split them. Looks better indeed. Only the TWHS do not show nicely yet on mobile, I suspect because some of the tentative site names are too long. Will look into that.

Thank you Els, now it looks very fine. For WHS there are shorter names used here (great idea btw), for TWHS it may be difficult and there is no need imo.

Is it correct this page is not accesible from the website itself at the top menu community?
