Simon, the developer of the WH Collect App, has recently finished the Android version of this fine app. He is now looking for volunteers to participate in what is called the "closed testing phase" of the app to report bugs etc. This is a requirement before the app may be published to the general public on the Google Play Store.

So if you have a smartphone running on Android (Samsung, Motorola, Google Pixel, HTC etc) and want to participate, please make yourself known below in this topic or by sending an e-mail to els@worldheritagesite.org

I am not using Android, but I can report a strange behaviour on my iPhone: my total count is 1 less than what it should be. I compared the one on this app with all my other counts, but every visited site is included. So, is there maybe something not counting? Maybe beech forests, I do not know? I am becoming crazy trying to udnerstand what's' happening.

Works fine for me on iPhone, 899 sites and counting! Are you sure you weren't overambitious?

Hey! I could not be less ambitious than right now! :-P

It seems it is a cultural, Euro-american site, but I cannot pinpoint it. All otherr counts, on this site and on my two installation of the other World Heritage app, give 193. Yesterday I compared all visited sites, but I could not find the reason. Help!

... OK: using all the skills learned in my academic career and some precious time at work, I found the "bug", which was simply a forgotten tik in WH collect. So, in a sense, I was underambitious! Sorry for the nuisance.
