I started this topic to share thoughts and ideas about the Community Statistics pages.
Of course I have read all your suggestions in the comments to the blog post topic. I will do a follow-up on them when I have a bit more time (am travelling at the moment).

In the mean time, Kurt Lauer has been the first to complete India! To quote from his profile, he needed "a six month journey to Indian subcontinent" with a focus on "hiking in the Himalayas".

It is a good idea but very challenging. Website can do this prospectively but for the WHS that have been already visited, everyone needs to put the dates of visits one by one.

@Els, I would be happy if you can put the countries with WHS >=10 to stats in addition to top and difficult countries. In addition, 'nearly there" should be 2 missing instead of 1 and can also be visible for top countries in addition to difficult countries.

Thanks for putting all these statistics up, Els! One question that comes to mind when it comes to country completion: Is there a way we could record in which countries we have visited components of transnational sites?

I've updated the 'Completing Difficult Countries Page'.
It now includes all countries with 10 WHS or more, which have been completed by less than 10 community members.
Added countries: Denmark (because of Greenland!), Indonesia, Peru and South Africa. This also means a few more completionists, including Kbecq, Bernard, Randi & Svein...

I will not further extend it for now, to keep the lists readable and the achievements noteworthy enough. Other countries suggested in the blog post comments (such as Poland, Austria etc) have up to 65 members who have completed, as already said in the first blog post on this topic. Maybe they will get a mention in a future country statistics page, but they don't meet the criteria I set out for the member statistics.

@els

I am wondering are there anyone in our community complete or almost complete WHS in every countries that only have just one WHS?

That query is a bit above my capabilities to make. But there is an easy answer - Bikini Atoll, the only WHS on the Marshall Islands, has been visited by only 2 people (somehow its summary shows 0, need to look into that, possibly these are inactive members). Lorenzo has not visited Asmara for example (the only WHS in Eritrea). Kasienka5 has not visited the Island of Mozambique for example. So the answer is No.

I've launched a new Statistics page: Globetrotters.

It shows community members that are strong in one region, with some 'new' names, especially in the Caucasus and Polynesia.

I also looked into the Categories and The 200 least visited, but there you see less deviation from the general rankings.

Please check the links to Connections in the Globetrotters section. A few are incorrect.

Ah, thanks for pointing this out. Forgot to finish them. Will fix it shortly.

I have added Sahara and Sahel to the Globetrotters page, resulting in some "new" names popping up.

I have added the people who have visited all whs in a country to the corresponding country page in a separate block called 'Country Complete'.

I've browsed through a few already. Thailand for example has remarkably few 'completionists' and Greece hasn't too many either.

Mongolia is 'uncompleted' (if that's a word).
