Hi
maybe there is a reason? but 4 Struve Geodetic Arc that are located in Ukraine are listed with russia. (on the country map).
they are listed on the Struve Geodetic Arc page, but on Ukraine page not, on Russia they are.

as far as I know they only annexed the Krim :-)

A mistake!!
For some reason all 4 of Ukraine's Struve locations - which are all correctly titled (including that they "belong" to Ukraine) and located on the map, have been "assigned" to Russia for "Country" purposes!! "Annexations have nothing to do with it!! In fact Russia "only" has 2 Struve locations, despite of course being the "prime creator" of the "Arc" back in Imperial days - both are situated on the Gulf of Finland island of Hogland whose "ownership" has switched between Russia/Finland several times. (See my review of Dec 2018 penultimate paragraph )
The 4 are
1187-031 KATERINOWKA Katerinowka Ukraine
1187-032 FELSCHTIN Felschtin Ukraine
1187-033 BARANOWKA Baranowka Ukraine
1187-034 STARO-NEKRASSOWKA Stara Nekrasivka Ukraine

@ELS - it is a bit "unfortunate" that our sequencing of locations is alphabetic which "scatters" the points within the list. Do we not hold the UNESCO ID and could we sequence on it??

Not all locations have UNESCO ID's, but we could sequence on it first (and internal id's second maybe, alphabetical indeed is not the most logic choice). Will put it on the backlog as to do after I return from Russia.

I wonder if on Els' trip to Jēkabpils she bumped into the British Ambassador to Latvia? He tweeted about his trip to see the Struve monument there this week: https://twitter.com/PaulBrummell/status/1691493004094189576?t=qjBmX-AZmlJVJJD1COIVHA&s=19

the British Ambassador to Latvia

Funny! No, I was there a few days earlier. But the locals are really proud of it, so no wonder he got there. Oh and thanks for your ad for this website in your twitter reply!
