Not a big issue but could the "Topic Titles" for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 World Heritage Committees in the Forum be corrrected from "WHS" to "WHC"!!
The only easy way of bringing together our discussions on World Heritage Committees is to search on Topic Title of "WHC" and this excludes the above.
If it wasn't a big job perhaps a new Topic Grouping of "World Heritage Committees (WHC)" could be introduced and all relevant topics removed from the rather unwieldy grouping of "General Discussions about WHS" (247 different "topics")!
We now have discussions going back to the 2009 WHC - http://www.worldheritagesite.org/forums/index.php?action=vthread&forum=4&topic=276

Would second the creation of a Topic grouping for them if it isn't a big job.

I would also like a mobile view, a jump to last page feature and the title bar should be corrected. Also, the user of the forum should be the same as for the main site.

Re Cleanups: The country pages should have uniform names, too.

Those are major projects, the (standard) forum software does not support that at the moment.

I also know Solivagant wonders about the word 'Phenomenon' for the heading of the topics. Can someone suggest an alternative, then I'll fix that too.

I'd suggest 'Topics'.

As I remember it I was interested in whether those speaking Dutch might mean something slightly different when using the word "Fenomeen" than the English do when using the word "Phenomenon" - because its use in this circumstance in English isn't "right" (in any case it would need to be plural).

I am not sure that simply using the word "Topics" as per Clyde's suggestion solves the problem since they are all "topics". It could be "General Topics" or "Misc Topics" I suppose (as opposed to e.g "Visiting" or "Web Site" which are other titles at this level). This level doesn't really add a great deal in the way in which we are using it at the moment does it! Perhaps some of the 230 "general" topics should be grouped and lifted to it!

As it did for me this morning with a short "dummy entry" instead of a full post!!
It was a bit annoying as I lost quite a lot of linking and formatting work on an entry covering one of Zoe's favourite topics - La Concepcion de la Vega.
