I have sent you 3 photos of Osun Oshogbo plus a resized version of the one in my review. Choose (if you wish) 1 of the 3 and also please replace my review photo with the resized one (as with many of my review photos it was uploaded in the days when you could only handle small images).
I would point out to anyone viewing them and thinking them rather "poor" that they were taken WAY back in Dec 1974 (42 years ago!!!) on Agfa CT18 diapositive film using God knows what camera in those days! I have digitised them using a slide scanner and tried to sharpen them and restore the faded colour (they have resided, in not ideal conditions, in my loft for many years) with Photoshop. I also remember in those days carrying no more than 6 or 7 36 shot cassettes of 35mm film to last for a month!! It wasn't easy to buy more in places like Nigeria in those days and it all had to be carried! Also a 36 shot film cost around £5 including processing at a time when, my diary tells me, that the entire 28 day trip to Nigeria cost £369 of which the return flight was £150.

They're wonderful, thanks! They still look good. What an odd site.

I might simply opt for a high altitude quick peek day trip of the Western Tien Shan closest to Tashkent in Uzbekistan. Still trying to see if it's worth it or not though ...

I'll try Aksu State Reserve in Kazakhstan. The WHS has 13 locations, so there are a lot of angles to explore for us all.

First picture and review of Lena Pillars

Yeah I have enjoyed the first photo and review of Lena Pillars, and also a first review of Wrangle Island last week (and for those that haven't read it I would also give a thumbs up to the piece on Sherry Ott's own site which she links to in the review, some interesting photos).

There has been a wonderful glut of reviews recently, I'm struggling to keep up with the reading, I even missed nan's one on Cueva de las Manos which I had been keeping an eye out for, but am catching up now and that there are some great bits in there, keep up the good work.

I think there used to be one by Jorge, but then Spain and Catalunya clashed. In any case, nice to see people traveling off the beaten path.

True. I'm still catching up too because I was still sorting out my photos from the Maldives and Central India.

Hello, everyone

I would like to add that it has been enormously good to read all those reviews that have appeared recently, it has been hard to catch up with all of them, but also very informative. Some great ideas for travels to come.

Kind regards,
