As I only want to do reviews for sites where I feel I can add some extra info about the site or the logistics of a visit to that already covered by other reviews I was checking through the number of reviews which various sites in Spain have received to target those with fewer reviews. Very strangely, the count appears to be incorrect in a number of cases. Counting your own review as 1 Els (even though it appears above the "review" area)
Tower of Hercules - only has one by Ian Cade plus yours = 2. Yet the count is 3
Vizcaya Bridge has 4 plus yours = 5. Yet the count is 6
Aranjuez has 4 plus yours = 5. Yet the count is 6.
Also in Portugal - Coimbra and Elvas and Panama - Portobelo
etc etc. But Wooden Tsverkas of Carpathian region is correct at 5 - so it doesn't happen on all occasions when you have also made a review.
No big deal but you might want to look at it some time.

I have just gone to a review I made way back in 2005 (Oshogbo) to make an alteration.........and it doesn't appear for amendment.
Is it the case that reviews made BEFORE the current review update mechanism are not available for amendment??

Yes there is a minimum length (I have to check what it is, give me a few minutes)

No, but 350 characters is about 3 full sentences; if you're writing a more substantial review, it is better to do it in Word first - so you can copy it (and keep the original). I think that's what most people do.

I was studying the Vatnajökul National Park a bit and just uploaded a review and POI images for parts that were not covered, yet. I noticed on the map that the northern part of the nomination (Jökulsargljufur National Park & Asbyrgi area) were excluded from inscription in 2019. However, there is a review by Ralf Regele on the Jökulsargljufur National Park (2018) that is also highlighted in the Community Perspective. Maybe this needs a minor addition that, so far, this northern part is excluded from the inscription? The site history could also mentioned that this part was excluded. I would certainly not encourage to take the recommended detour, though!
