I have chosen below a few snapshots of this Website since 2001 showing the first archive on "Wayback machine" and then some subsequent ones after a significant change was made - how time flies!! It may interest both those who have been using Els's creation since the "early days" and those who have come along later

Wow! Thanks!

I can remember (at least) one lay-out version before. I started in 1997, one of the main colours was yellow. I remember a first edition with a photo of Shirakawa-go in Japan, but that could only have been in 2000 (the year I visited it).

In between obsessive visits to football blogs I have gone back through a fair few of those in that last week. I commented before on how this was my first visit to the site. I'm a little sad that I haven't yet come across the picture, that used to be in the top corner, of the hand painted Ethoiopian? WHS sign that UNESCO demanded be removed.

Anyway, it is always good to have a dose of nostalgia and also trace some personal history as well.
