I have just been sent a link to a website called The Internet Archive Wayback Machine.

Basically it provides a snapshot of websites at different stages in their history.

This is the earliest snapshot of worldheritagesite.org, from May 2001 when Els' total was 67 sites.

And this is to the best of my knowledge the day I first visited the site, I remember the date for other reasons rather than being that obsessed, though it does happen to be 2 days after my first cognisant visit to a WHS, so maybe I am that obsessed!

I thought it pretty interesting and you can also see the amount of effort that Els has put in over the years.
