Hi Els,

Welcome back to Europe.

I just noticed that a fair few pictures seem to have become muddled on the reviews.

I managed to correct a few of mine today but I was just wondering if there was any reason for this or if there is anything we can do to help stop it from happening?

A couple of examples:
Dessau looks a little more exotic than John's review suggests
Bantay Chmar not sure where the picture is from
and Kbal Spean seems to have some pictures from Bahrain

I had the same issue. For some reason on my review for the tentative site Oeam Village of Korea, my profile shows a review for "The Pobiti Kamani Natural Monument (Bulgaria)" I can now click on Oeam village on Tentative Sites and see my review, however on my profile the Bulgaria site shows up instead of Oeam village. Wierd.

I will look into it!

I always had a bit of trouble with the T-sites, numbering and uniquely identifying them. That's how the error that winterkjm describes comes about.

Update: I think I have fixed that now

The problem meltwaterfalls mentions, has occurred after I had to re-enter the reviews dating from between October 2010 and March 2011 (because of the database crash). These reviews have received new id's, and then sometimes point at the photo that belongs to the review that formerly had this number. Pfff... I will change them where I see them.

This should not happen anymore with new reviews, so if you see something strange please tell so.

The Bantay Chmar photo is mine of Nicaragua's "Fort of the Immaculate Conception" -though that site's review has its correct photo.

Ah, that explains why a review for Vingen appears on my page as well.

I will try and get through and update my pictures in the next couple of days.

Vingen is a very old TWHS, and Unesco had given it the same id as Prei Kuk......

I've got a bit of a quiz on this dreary Saturday morning (in NW Europe).
While rearranging the muddled pics, I cannot attribute the following to the right WHS (and therefore the right review).

So - do you know where these photos have been taken?

3. Karnak/Thebes i guess but I haven't yet been able to identify the exact tomb
4. Elephanta
6. Kilimanjaro - you have this already on your site but I don't think it can be anywhere else -assuming that all these are inscribed sites rather than T List?
7. Mantua

I had not recognized Kili, never have been to the top...

Number 3 is the TWHS "Temple of Hathor at Dendera", I just found out

Number 2 might be Alexandria, and number 5 stone tombs in Al Ain, and 11 Donana NP. If someone can confirm this, that would be great

I am pretty sure that 2. is Alexandria, it is one of the buildings of the new library.

A problem is that none of the photos i have seen of the new Biblioteca Alexandrina look anything like the buildings in the unknown photo!!
Google images has a whole series of photos of the library and its site

I think it is of the conference hall next to the library rather than the library itself.
Hope this link works, it is the building with the zigzag roof behind the circular building of the library.

The Taishan photo in Ivan Mandy's review is definitely not Chinese temple, it's looked very Japanese, maybe a temple in Nara or Kyoto.
