I've disabled the access to your individual profile-pages on the website (via http://www.worldheritagesite.org/community.php) for the moment.

Something (someone?) is causing errors and high load via this function on the database.
So many that the database almost crashed, and with it all the other databases on that server at the location of the provider.

I will announce it when it will be open again!

I cannot access my profile since they were originally disabled. Is there still any problem?

When does this problem occur? I do not experience a problem accessing mine.

I sign in successfully, but cannot preview my profile. It seems like everything else works. I have the link on my own site, but the link no longer works.

I think the link has changed in name slightly:

ht tp://w ww.worldheritagesite.org/profiles/profile.php?User=** was the old one

ht tp://w ww.worldheritagesite.org/profiles/provile.php?User=** is the current one

not sure if it is intentional or not but there is just one letter that changed

It is intentional. Also fixed the link, so all should be fine now

I've taken the profiles down again, due to damage that was done by someone hacking into it.

UPDATE: seems to have had little impact, so they are up again
