Currently, the Condominio Theatres are still a bit hard to visit, as few have regular opening hours. During our September 2026 meetup, we were told several times that they were considering opening up more because of the increased interest due to the inscription on the List.

Below you'll find the current status, taken from our visit and recent reviews:

1762-001 Teatro Angelo Mariani in Sant'Agata Feltria: open to the public daily except Monday (July 2026). Free, accepting donations.

1762-002 Teatro Gentile da Fabriano: open by reservation only. Go to the ticket desk at the Oratorio della Carita to pay and meet your guide (sept 2026). Note: we were told that there are also public opening hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM, but better to verify this at the ticket desk.

1762-003 Teatro Giovanni Battista Pergolesi in Jesi: open by reservation only, via segreteria@fpsjesi.com (sept 2026)

1762-004 Teatro Ventidio Basso in Ascoli: open to the public without prior arrangement. The schedule we were told is: Monday to Friday 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM / 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Tours Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and the day before holidays: 10:00-1:00 PM; 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (sept 2026)

1762-005 Teatro Serpente Aureo in Offida: open to the public daily 10-13 and 15-19.30 without prior arrangement (sept 2026)

1762-006 Teatro dell'Aquila in Fermo: Argo booked a tour by phone, but found it should be possible just to show up and buy a ticket on the spot. Meeting point and ticket office is at the tourist information centre, Palazzo dei Priori, on the main square (July 2026)

1762-007 Teatro Lauro Rossi in Macerata: open by reservation only, via macerata.cultura@orologionetwork.it (Sept 2026). After your time slot is confirmed, you receive an email with a payment link.

1762-008 Teatro Feronia in San Severino: open by reservation via info@prolocossm.sinp.net (sept 2026), has regular hours too, October - June 9-12 & 16-19, non-festive Mondays closed, and from July - September 9-13 & 15:30-19:15, every day, but you have to go to the Pro Loco (on the same square) first to ask to open it.

1762-009 Teatro Bramante in Urbania: told there are currently (July 2026) no visits offered, but for groups(?) it may be worth asking at the Tourist Office in Urbania for a reservation.

1762-010 Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti in Spoleto: no info yet

Some are free; others ask a very small fee, like 2-3 EUR per person to enter.

I was there in July 2026. Here are my two cents:
1762-001 Teatro Angelo Mariani in Sant'Agata Feltria: I can add the access is free and you can donate what you want. Some volunteers open the theater and tell you about it (history, architecture, etc.) and facilitate the visit. They worth the donation :-)
1762-009 Teatro Bramante in Urbania: I was told in the theater that no visits are offered too, so same info as you already have... BUT in the Tourist Office in Urbania, the told me it could be visited with a previous reservation. If you want to go, try to contact the Tourist Office in advance so they can tell you how to do it (maybe is only for groups, not sure)

It's actually open with regular hours, 10-13 and 16-19 if I am not mistaken, but you have first to go to the Pro Loco (on the same square) to ask for opening it.

Just to precise, there are no reservations needed: in the summer season (April - October) these are the opening hours of the Pro Loco (the local tourism office), where people have the key of the theatre. No visits are possible outside these hours, as we have learned. They are planning to improve the accessibility given the recent nomination, though (and one first, strange effect of this is that toilets are not accessible anymore, only UNESCO knows why, probably they also contribute to the OUV).

Update: reading the linked page above more carefully, the opening hours are from October - June 9-12 & 16-19, non-festive Mondays closed, and from July - September 9-13 & 15:30-19:15, every day. I realise now that in our planning there might have been some misunderstanding when aiming at the "opening" at 16, instead than 15:30. But at least we managed to visit what we aimed at in the end.

Another relevant remark: the time of the year we have chosen for our visits (beginning of September) is quite ideal. In general, it will be easier to visit the theatres in August/September, as it is between seasons. Typically, the theatre seasons last from October to April. So also summer in general is a good moment, but there might be more events than in August/September. Conversely, it will be more difficult to visit the busiest theatres (e.g. Macerata, Fabriano, Ascoli...) during fall and winter.
