Hi all, I have been wondering how to "visit" the prehistoric pile dwellings... I have an experience similar to what Els reported in her review: realize that most (if not all?) of the unesco property in Switzerland is underwater, so I just went to visit the Laténium museum near Neuchâtel... Interesting enough, but I can't really decide that I "visited" this site, given that the museum is not part of the protected area. Is that simply a site which is impossible to tick, at least for the Swiss part? Where are the most accessible really visible parts in other countries and how to approach it? It seems the other reviewer mentions an area in the Dolomites, it seems there are remaining dwellings visible in France. What about other areas? (Or am I maybe missing something?) Thanks for all advice... |
