But it looks like a negative advice during the Preliminary Assessment? (a paywall circumvent shows a poorly written article which makes us non the wiser https://archive.ph/8DAmS , but we can pull it from the 2028 nomination list anyway)

		Tarrafal Concentration Camp (Cabo Verde) numerous reports indicating nomination is progressing (only vague timelines thus far, likely not submitted for 2027, but has went through the preliminary evaluation process) Civil Rights Movement Sites (United States)* *likely ready for submission for 2028 (though Interior might not approve), generally encouraging preliminary evaluation I've been skeptical about these previously slotted 2027 nominations, but since there are no credible reports recently, I would hesitate to place them for 2028 either. I suppose we'll see if any indicators emerge of progress on a nomination file. Unless we overlooked something, this is not possible. The Preliminary Assessment Process is active for 2028, so it means only sites that have gone through that stage are eligible for nomination.
