As in other years, please discuss what's happening live here (so others without live access can follow and we have a trail to look back into). I understand the discussions on the delisting of Liverpool have started already.

Oh I hadn't realised Liverpool was up today. I'm not able to watch so if there are any updates it would be great to know.

Here is the link to the livestream, for those interested. Check out the provisional timetable* found via the link to find out when topics of interest may be up for discussion. As of now, discussion on new nominations is scheduled to start on 24 July at 11:30 CET/Paris time.

*As a note even though the WHC session is being held in Fuzhou, China, this year's session is being held online, and the working hours on the timetable are all set to CET/Paris time.

Tomorrow will be a decision. Most probably the issue will be postponed for next year.

Sorry, help me understand: I see that we are at point 7A, that is, discussion of conservation status of endangered sites, like Liverpool, right? And it will continue also tomorrow (19/7) and also on Wednesday (21/7) after the pause. And so the decision of either delisting or not is contextual to this discussion? I am asking this because it is not apparent from the timetable.

Astraftis:

Mostly the 19th. Only half an hour on the 21st.

The delisting of both Liverpool and Selous is discussed here, as well as the status of the other endangered sites as per documents 7a and 7a.add,

The sessions are really short this year, only 4 hours per day (to overcome the time zones issues probably).
