Perhaps this is hardly surprising in any given year, but I found it more so over the span of two world heritage conference cycles. The same well-represented countries seem as committed and able to submit new nominations yearly. In Asia you have China, India, Japan, and Iran. In Europe you have Germany, Italy, France, and Spain. |
