Pu'er Tea Gardens. Candidate for 2016?
It could possibly be the nomination for 2015, no? Perhaps along with
Tusi Chieftain Sites, since we have not yet heard of a 2nd nomination from China. Presumably, the site can easily be pursued as a cultural landscape. I might be assuming too much in expecting 2 nominations from China every year.
Regardless of the evaluation year 2015 or 2016, it will be an interesting nomination. We have seen coffee, wine, and blue agave (Tequila) landscapes inscribed recently and further nominations in the pipeline, why not Tea? This might eventually result in additional "tea" related nominations being pursued in India or Korea.
Maybe an eventual connection about the "History of Beverages (Drink)"
Tequila (inscribed)
Wine (several inscriptions)
Coffee (inscribed)
Tea (progressing nomination)
Beer (?????)
