Right I hope no one objects but I have tried to break down the massive Religious Structure: Christian category (107!) into some slightly more manageable chunks.
I don't necessarily want people to pile in on it as the focus was on natural sites, I just had a bit of time to do it so dove in.

This batch (29) is those where the main focus is on church(es)

Aquileia
Asturian Monuments
Baroque Churches
Boyana Church
Church of the Ascension, Kolomenskoye
Churches of Chiloé
Churches of Moldavia
Churches of Peace
Congonhas
Euphrasian Basilica in Porec
Holy Trinity Column (not really a church but has a chapel inside and doesn't fit elsewhere)
Kizhi Pogost
Lalibela
Mtskheta
Painted Churches in the Troödos Region
Petäjävesi Old Church
Pilgrimage Church of St. John of Nepomuk
Pilgrimage Church of Wies
Ravenna
Rock-hewn Churches of Ivanovo
Sacri Monti of Piedmont and Lombardy
Urnes Stave Church
Vall de Boi
Vézelay
Villages with Fortified Churches
Wooden Churches of Maramures
Wooden Churches of Southern Malopolska
Wooden Churches of the Slovak Carpathians
Wooden Tserkvas of the Carpathian Region

My selection:

Lalibela (really unique and a great African cultural WHS
Mtskheta (one of the best in the region)
Painted churches in the troodos region (one of the best examples of painted churches on an island)
Ravenna (simply outstanding for its mosaics)
Urnes Stave Church (Maybe; as one of the best examples of Scandinavian wooden churches)
Vall de Boi (Maybe; as one of the best regional painted churches in a spectacular environment)

This is a difficult one to cull.
I think that nearly all have to be considered on the basis of their art/architecture rather than for their historic or religious values which are not of "world class".
There are a number of near duplicate vernacular designs - eg Wooden Churches which, at most only need 1 example.
There are a few undoubtedly iconic ones for their location, architecture and art which IMO can't be missed out.

Kizhi
Churches of Moldavia
Lalibela
Ravenna

As for the rest I have little great argument with the proposals other than Vezalay which i can't support on the grounds of its significant lack of authenticity
I have only visited 19 of them and the others are only on my list for their ticks rather than as "must sees".I suppose we need a few examples of different vernacular designs for Christian churches but find it difficult to decide between them. I am a bit surprised at Chiloe but I suppose they represent a different region. I have recently returned from visiting the Asturian Monuments and see them as rather a niche nomination both architecturally and historically. I just don't know what we do with such a rump of middling sites!

Those I have visited:
Aquileia - Y I think the Basilica is one of the most impressive churches I have seen, there is also an impressive longevity to it.
Asturian Monuments - N Lovely but only of niche interest
Churches of Peace - Y/N? I really liked them, perhaps a good site for wooden architecture and protestantism
Euphrasian Basilica in Porec - N Better examples elsewhere (Ravenna)
Holy Trinity Column - N sob Would recommend a visit to anyone, but not really going to be one of the 200 most important sites in the world
Pilgrimage Church of St. John of Nepomuk - N Quirky and interesting, but not of universal significance.
Pilgrimage Church of Wies - N? I'm open to persuasion on this one as in terms of a northern Baroque structure it is about as in your face as things will get. Not really sure if it would make a final 200 though.

Those I haven't visited so thinner base of knowledge but definite inclusion:
Kizhi Pogost
Lalibela
Ravenna

I don't really have enough knowledge of the others to make an in/ out judgment.

Just one thing for Els to clarify.
As I understand it in THIS exercise we are looking at culling to around 400+ ? This being a "Community" assessment of the most significant SET of WHS to represent the Earth and our species. The approx number chosen because anything much less will preclude a "rounded" set.
We may then vote from among these for the "personally" most significant/"best" (or whatever) 200 - or go back to voting for this from the complete 1031? (at least "informed" by this Community exercise).
My concern about voting from among 1031 is that there will be an enormous asymptotic tail once the the Taj Mahals/Grand Canyons etc of this World have been voted for and that this would not tell us very much! Also that by voting on the Culled list some of the Eurocentric bias might hopefully have been excluded?
But I accept that we can decide on that matter later- at the moment we are concentrating on a COMMUNITY view of 400+

Yep, I agree on those points. Just to clarify my statement on not being in the Top 200 was more my shorthand for saying it isn't really good enough to make the culled list of 400 let alone the final 200 rather than I was thinking we need to whittle down to the 200 at this point.

Yeah I think there will be other bits to think about in the process later but now the focus should be on the 400

I visited most of these, my 2 cents:

Asturian Monuments - N
Baroque Churches - N
Boyana Church - N (very small)
Churches of Chiloé - Y?
Churches of Moldavia - Y (great exterior wall paintings)
Churches of Peace - Y (combination of Protestant story + huge wooden churches)
Congonhas - Y?? (I quite liked it, artistically it's interesting)
Euphrasian Basilica in Porec - N
Holy Trinity Column (not really a church but has a chapel inside and doesn't fit elsewhere) - N
Lalibela - Y
Painted Churches in the Troödos Region - N
Petäjävesi Old Church - N (would rate it less iconic, and favour Urnes to represent Scandinavian wooden churches)
Pilgrimage Church of St. John of Nepomuk - N
Pilgrimage Church of Wies - N (6,5/10)
Ravenna - Y
Sacri Monti of Piedmont and Lombardy - N
Urnes Stave Church - Y (iconic example of Scandinavian wooden architecture)
Vall de Boi - Y??? (I rated it with a 7/10)
Vézelay - N (5,5/10)
Villages with Fortified Churches - N
Wooden Churches of Maramures - N
Wooden Churches of Southern Malopolska - N (6/10)
Wooden Churches of the Slovak Carpathians - N
Wooden Tserkvas of the Carpathian Region - N (6,5/10)

Once again, here's the link to the Religious Structure, Christian category, for those who need it. My rationale for this category was either a church that wows me architecturally, or uniquely represents a region or people group.

1. Lalibela -- spectacular rock-hewn cruciform-shaped churches in Ethiopia
2. Ravenna -- amazing mosaic work with Roman and Byzantine influences located at several churches and monuments
3. Urnes Stave Church -- iconic Viking-style wooden church from the time period when the Vikings were adopting Christianity
4. Kizhi Pogost -- picturesque wooden churches on an island in a lake in northern Russia, representing Russian Orthodoxy
5. Churches of Peace -- large wooden churches built as refuges for Protestants in Silesia, now Poland
6. Churches of Chiloé -- represents the tradition of Jesuit and mestizo wooden architecture constructed on islands on the west coast of Chile
7. Baroque Churches -- represents a fused Filipino-Hispanic architectural style of churches in the Philippines

Maramures had the support of two members as an excellent representative example of vernacular wooden architecture in Europe.
