(There is another Montenegro topic under "how do I reach Aldabra" which actually fits my question, but I have preferred using a country topic)
I was looking at the ferry connections between
Montenegro and Italy and I am perplexed, so wondered if anybody has a clearer picture.
The main
problem is that it appears that there are no ferries. Many sources (online and guidebooks) point to montenegrolines.com, but now one is redirected to another company which does not operate to Montenegro. I knew of
Adria ferries, but they are showing only 2025 schedules from Bar to Bari/Ancona, and they seem to only connect Durrës now.
So, are ferries between Montenegro and Italy dead for this year?! I took them for granted, at least in the high season... I think we are also prety close to that season to have schedules.
PS: looking for "Montenegro lines", one also finds a company with the same name in the Philippines. ...
Update:
With some more search I found
this brief notice, of April, stating that there are indeed no connections between Montenegro and Italy this year (and possibly also next year). There are no available ships and a dock in Bar needs repair. Sigh... I simply cannot believe it.
