The only solution that I can think
I wasn't thinking of anything as complex (Sophisticated?) as this.
My main "concern" was that the Country topic titles are all of a different format e.g "Future UK approach to WHS", "Japan", "China world Heritage", "Mexico WHS". And also that many countries don't have a "stub" which perhaps encourages people to use existing topics (or create extra "odd" ones!) when a country topic might be better.
Standardise titles with Country name first and either nothing extra or a standard phrase "China - General WHS matters"? ) and in alpha order - also create a topic for every country to encourage use? No need to introduce a new "sub forum" -just leave under countries"? Interesting to see which countires have no posts about their "WHS life"!
I can see no way round the fact that many posts might belong under more than one topic e.g additions to the T List. This is better left under additions to T List as are e.g matters concerned with future WHCs. One just has to use the search facility- perhpas sometimes it might be worth adding a post under the country with a link to the post under another sub forum?
The country topic links could then be added to the Country pages in the main site. For instance -we have a topic from 2009 titled "Ancient Plovdiv". Only those of us who have been "around" a long time might know of/remember this - but it (IMO!!) contains useful information about Bulgaria and its WHS - hence i cross referred to it the other day - there are other examples. We shoud/could see the "country topic" as a prime entry point for info about sites in a country and encourage its use rather than intorducing ever more topics which just get "lost". Alternatively topics like that could be linked back to the WHS or TWHS page of the site concerned??
